Special surprise this edition | David Mulder improvisational poet
Poetic Consultation is the live act of spoken word artist David Mulder. The concept is inspired by the traditional Escribano: the public scribe who sits behind his typewriter in the central square of Buenos Aires. People who struggle to find the right words come to him to dictate a letter, and he carefully commits their thoughts to paper.
The Poetic Consultation is a contemporary, poetic variation on this tradition.
You sit down with the poet for a short, attentive conversation — a brief consultation in which your story, question, memory, or longing takes center stage. Then the steady rhythm of an antique typewriter begins. In that very moment, a personal and evocative poem is written especially for you.
