Argentijnse Tangosalon in de historische Balszaal van het beroemde Hotel New York in Rotterdam. Deze editie staat helemaal in het teken van de zomer die net begonnen is 🙂 Veel kleuren, vrolijkheid, docenten uit Brazilië en heel veel Tango. Tegelijk is dit ook ons afscheidsfeest, want de zomer begint en de reguliere lessen starten pas weer verder in september.

18.00 – 19.15 uur Circularity | Working on the dissociation
Docenten: Paula Emerick & Juliano Andrade
In this class we will wor on the disociation as a connecting element and as a motor for the leaders’ and followers’ pivots. Initially, we will do some technical exercises to work on the dissociation. Not only as different directions of chest and hips, but as an energy applied on the back that gives fluidity to movements with pivots. The idea is to find ‘elastics’ on the back that works as an engine for the pivots and helps the couple to stay connected during circular movements. We will work then with a sequence of ‘giro’, applying the dissociation from the back as the motor of the pivots. Beyond the mechanic of the sequence, the focus will be to keep the couple all the time in an imaginary cylinder that keeps the energy circular.
